1 Day Kayaking Tour Mekhong River
Itinerary
8:00 am: Pick up at your hotel on Donkhone by boat going to Dondet for starting our trip.
8:30 am: The guide gives you some basic paddle instruction.
9:00 am: Start kayaking to the western side of Dondet and then pass by some small island to the north of Donkhone. This take about 40 minutes, after mastering some minor rapids you you will enjoy some more exciting rapids (grade 2 – 3).
Then we stop at the peir and walk to khon Pa Soi waterfall (about 25 min).
Then we walk back to our kayaks and paddle more 30 minutes to visit the Mekong Irrawaddy dolphins, near by the Cambodia Border.
12:30 pm: Stop at a (Cambodia Border) beach to have a BBQ picnic lunch. Here you also have time to go swimming in beautiful clean swimming spots.
After lunch we continue paddling downstream for about 40 minutes to Vernkharm village where the car is waiting for you to the amazing and impressive Khonephapheng waterfall considered to the biggest and wildest waterfall in Southeast Asia.
Later you will be driving by car to Nakasang, where you will enjoy your last time kayaking, back to Dondet or Donkhone.
End of our trip.

Itinerary
8:00 am - 10:30 am
You will leave pakse office at 8:00 am for a 2hours driving on the road No.13south to Nakasang pier . Once there you will take a long trail boat 25mn’ Boat driving to Dondet & Donkhone Island.
11:00 am - 11:40 am
After the boat tour, you will go to visiting Liphi waterfall, which is a collection of the powerful water falls spilling down at different angles to join in a powerful flow. At the end of the main path, you can find a nice beach to swim after fall down.
12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
You will go to lunch at Senghaloun’s restaurant after lunch you we will take a long trail boat driving back to Nakasang village that the van waiting for you then continue to the amazing and impressive Khonephapheng waterfall .Considered to be the biggest and wildest waterfall in Southeast Asia.
1:30 pm - 3:30 pm
In this destination Khonephapheng waterfall very impressive natural wonderful considered as South East Asia’s biggest waterfall.
Fub fact: The existence of the waterfall is the main reason why the Mekong river is not navigable by ship from China downstream into the South,then we will take a van driving back and transfer to your hotel in Pakse.

1 Day Boat Tour To Champasak
08:00 am - 10:00 am: Our Tuk Tuk will transfer you to the pier (Pakse) and you will take boat direct to Champasak.
10:00 am - 12:15 pm: After two hour on boat, you will arrive at Champasak pier (Champasak post office). Then continue by Tuk Tuk to watphu temple, located 8km from the Southwest of Champasak at the junction of the Mekong and the Pho Kao Mountain, this historical site is acknowledged as UNECO world heritage site since 2001. It is the only important khmer remain of the country. Inscriptions in Sanskrit and Chinese source confirm that this place has been venerated since the 5th century. The archaeological site contains 6 terraces on 3 levels in the Centre along a stone-paved road.
At the end of your visit, take a few minutes to sit down and to enjoy the full view on the bray, the plains and the historical remains.
Do not miss museum located at the entrance of the site. It will give you interesting complementary knowledge
12:15 pm - 1:30 pm: After visit our TUk Tuk will take your choice of restaurant in Champasak. (They are plenty of the restaurants situated along the Mekong serving great Lao food with the perfect Mekong river view!)
1:30 pm - 3:00 pm: After lunch time at your own leisure to visit Champasak city and discover French colonial buildings.
3:00 pm - 5:00 pm: Enjoy your ride back by boat to Pakse.
