Ecotourism Luangnamtha

Ethnic Travel Laos has been committed to eco-tourism since it’s beginning in 2016.

But what is eco-tourism?

Fist of all, the definition of Eco-tourism is "responsible travel to natural areas that conserves the environment. Which sustains the well-being of the local people, and involves interpretation and education" (TIES, 2015).  Education is meant to be inclusive of both staff and guests.

It means “responsible travel to natural areas conserving the environment and improving the well being of the local people.” (Wikipedia)

It means that your travel not only enriches your life, but also the lives of others and the environment as well.

How is Ethnic Travel Laos actually performing eco-tourism?

Ethnic Travel Laos present activities like trekking, kayaking, cycling, hiking, and slow boat by involving the diverse communities of Laos in different ways:Ethnic travel laos

“We took part in a 2 day trekking in jungle and ethnic villages. And what a two days they were!!! ...We were very impressed after this two days. We even could help locals to make their new house. Because the most important thing for us is not only see their life, but take a part in it.”               -Resit
