This tour will bring you to most of the prominent sites in Vientiane including Buddha Park.

Buddha Park (aka Xieng Khuan) is a famous sculpture park with more than 200 religious statues including a huge 40-metre high reclining Buddha image.
Others:

  •  Wat Sisaket – The Wat Si Saket is an early 19th century Buddhist monastery in the center of Vientiane. It is the oldest temple of the town that is still in its original form.
  •  Ho Phra Keo Museum – Formerly a Buddhist shrine dating back to 1565. Today, it serves as a museum of religious arts in Vientiane. Locals call it ‘the Temple of the Emerald Buddha’ as Ho Phra Keo has a gilded throne meant for the Emerald Buddha, which now sits on the grounds of Bangkok’s Grand Palace.
  • Patuxai, also known as Gate of Victory. Patuxai is a war monument in the centre of Vientiane, built between 1957 and 1968. The Patuxai was dedicated to those who fought in the struggle for independence from France
  • Pha Thad Luang the Grand Stupa.
